False Teaching Misleads Good People

May be an image of text that says 'DESTRUCTION LIFE "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide isthe gate and broad isthe way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow isthe gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." Matthew 7:13-14'

““Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them…”” Matt 7:15-16

Jesus had just told His disciples, and likely a great crowd of people, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

You don’t have to look far these days to find people who claim Jesus is on the wide road just like He is on the narrow, and they will tell you that you are narrow minded if you believe otherwise.

Maybe, just maybe He had these two thoughts in consecutive order in His lesson for a reason!

He hasn’t changed, and the straight and narrow road is still the only road to Him. If you are listening to someone who tells you otherwise, first of all, Jesus said what He meant, and meant what He said. Second, they might be one of the false teachers to whom Jesus was warning!!
