It's On God's Calendar

I'm one day closer to death today than yesterday, and so are you. As I get older, weeks go by like days, months like weeks, and years like months. Unless Jesus comes back first, death is headed our direction at a much faster rate than any of us would like to admit.

We will all stand before God in judgment, even those who refuse to believe that it will happen. Scripture gives us many words of encouragement, as well as many words of warning.

"Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire" Rev 10:15

"But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matt 12:36-37

"For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”" 1 Peter 4:17-18

"...for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned." John 5:28-29

Scripture warns about evil rulers, unrighteous judges, crooked people in positions of authority, people who trust in riches, people who line their pockets at the expense of others, fornicators, adulterers, murders, thieves, liars, arrogant, those disobedient to parents, unmerciful, inventors of evil, unforgiving, envious, covetous, immoral and many more, who will suffer the wrath of God, if they are unrepentant on judgment day (Rom 1:18)

While we all have sinned, the grace of Jesus will cover the sins of those who obey His will, and come to Him in obedience and submission, being buried into Him, and having a new life only available to those who are in Him.

Judgement is a real event. God has it on His calendar! We will all be there as participants, not observers! Are you ready?
